The Oven can perform several type of heat treatments as Aging, Stress relieving, Annealing and Solution. The temperature of the under vacuum Oven goes from 600° C through 1250° C.
This Oven is managed automatically following pre determined processes. The Oven has been qualified under AVIO Lab control to perform heat treatments on Aerospace parts.

The aim of the brazing process is to assembly two or more components using special brazing materials and an under vacuum oven.
SMF has a separate clean room dedicated to the brazing processes where the parts are prepared for the brazing process. In other words the parts are put together with the brazing materials in the right quantity and in the areas indicated by the cycle.

The purpose is to verify the absence of defects in the areas that have been machined, pressed, formed or welded applying a proper fluorescent penetrating liquid and to verify, after a cleaning process the presence of some liquid inside a defects that is not visible normally.

The dimensional controls are performed in an air conditioned room with a temperature monitoring system using a CMM verification machine. The verification process if performed by a CMM program designed with the target of checking all the physical dimensions that are mentioned by the applicable drawings comparated with the expected dimensions.
