Description

SMF has recently installed and qualified one new Oven to perform under vacuum heat treatments. The Oven can perform several type of heat treatments as Aging, Stress relieving, Annealing and Solution. The temperature of the under vacuum Oven goes from 600° C through 1250° C.

This Oven is managed automatically following pre determined processes. Times and temperatures are also recorded to verify that the requirements stated by the applicable specs are met.

The Oven has been qualified under AVIO Lab control to perform heat treatments on Aerospace parts.
